"The 2012 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts comes from a 0.80-hectare parcel. It has a vivacious bouquet with lifted black cherry and creme de cassis scents, citrus peel and a stony element that is only revealed after rigorous aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a velvety entry matched by well-judged acidity. This is very smooth and generous in the mouth with plenty of black cherry and fruitcake lining the finish.
