Graves is one of the oldest wine regions in Bordeaux located on the Left Bank along the Garonne River in the south of the city of Bordeaux. The name of the appellation says a lot about its terroir because this place is mostly characterized by gravel soils which it is named Graves.

The climate is influenced by ocean breezes and the unique soil consists of gravelly, sand, clay and some limestone outcrops. It is the unique appellation able to produce three different wines : red, white and sweet wines, all distinguished by their quality and diversity.

The red wines of Graves often made from emblematic grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot present aromas of red and black fruits enhanced by spicy and earthy notes. The white wines primarily from Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon and Muscadelle offer a rich aromatic diversity blending citrus, white flowers and mineral nuances.
