Dominique Lafon is a winemaker/owner at the renowned family domaine known as Domaine des Comtes Lafon.  Starting in 2008, he decided to make a few wines under his own label, separate from the family domaine. Domaine des Comtes Lafon is one of the most esteemed and influential wine estates in Burgundy, France. The domaine was founded in the early 19th century and has been managed by several generations of the Lafon family. Renowned winemaker Dominique Lafon, who also oversees his eponymous label, has played a significant role in shaping the domaine's reputation for producing exceptional wines.
